No Matter what I do, no matter how hard I try, Google Adsense is simply NOT working for me. I have optimized my ads 100 times, created channels to track income, reduced number of ads but nothing seems to work. I am almost fade up with Google and spending too much time reading articles like “How to double your google adsense income instantly”. But today, I have decided stop reading those articles as none really talks about the problem or the solution.

I can not imagine making less than 0.01 cents from the largest advertisement company for the publishers.
Let me save a lot of time for many of you. This is the list that most of the WEBGURU’s are suggesting:
1. Improve CTR – How much can you improve? Really? I doudt there are anybody with 10% CTR. If you are getting 1-2 % CTR I would say you have done pretty good. Link units have very hight CTR but low pay rate. So, link units may improve your CTR but definitely reduce the avg PPC. Well, the point is even after improving my CTR, I still get <0.01 cent clicks from google.
2. Match your adsense to the website look and feel: This trick also did not work. It improved the CTR and thereby improved 10 more clicks with 10 cents or less. Should I spend hours and hours of my valuable time to earn 10 cent extra a day? What do you think?
3. Reduce your ad units: This is kind of tricky. By reducing number of ad units, you are potentially removing bunch of low paying ads from your site, but also reducing the chance of someone clicking on your ads. So, your CTR is probably going to drop a little. For me, the trick works only for a day or two. Then I end up with few ad units, fewer clicks and almost no revenue.
4. Placement does NOT matter? Well many follow the HEAT MAP by google to place their ad. Yes, heat map shows the prime locations to get some clicks. But does it help your PPC? I don’t know. Even my ads at the very beginning of the pages get <0.01 cent clicks. I am tired with Adsense Optimization. Really.
5. Increase content: Great advise. But how much can you add to your website? How much is really quality content and would attract someone like you to read? If I make 1 quality posts in every 3 days, I feel happy. well, I have multiple sites and some with >5000 unique visitors. How are they doing with adsense? Horrible. Everyday I am getting more and more <0.01 cent clicks and my revenue has come down to very little. I am so much frustrated with Google that I have removed many ad units from Google and replaced with othe advertisers.
6. Filter out low paying Advertisers: How do you know if someone is paying you too low? No one really knows other than some clever websites who promise you to give 200 low paying advertisers website that you can block from the adsense page using “filters”. But, I don’t trust those websites and google does not really recommend that either. So, this does not work either.
7. Search, Feeds, Ads for Domains/Mobile Ads: Tell me truly my friend, how much do you make from Google search? give me the percentage, .01% of your total income? Even less for the feed and lesser for mobile and domain ads? Can they help you improve a lot? NO. Yes they are good to have and occationally you would make few cents here and there but to earn something decent they would not help.
Do the Adsense Guru’s LIE?
Frankly speaking, I don’t know. I can only speak about myself. I am sure there are some websites who really make great money out of Adsense. But for my sites adsense is generating <0.01 cent ads. I am irritated after trying all techniques described by the ad GURU’s. So, I think the Adsense got some problem the way they allow various website owners to place ads on their network. For sure, they can rule out such advertisers flooding adwords but they don’t. So, guys, do not waste your time. Try something new if you are fade up with google.
