How To Be Successful With Chitika

I have been praising Chitika for quite some time now. Today I am happy to see a great post “4 Factors For Success on Your Site – From 50 High-Earning Chitika Publishers” where they have described in great detail about to to be successful with Chitika. However, the good thing is that their guidance is equally applicable to be successful with any other advertisers and all usually follow their suggestion anyway. As expected their first importance is “Site Traffic“. Well we all know that to be successful over the internet we must need traffic. Without visitors or readers a website is basically stagnant. To improve your traffic, you need good content, search engine optimization and so on. You can just do a google search for “SEO GUIDE” to check literally thousands of article on SEO. But with Chitika you need more than just “any traffic”. Chitika is mainly for sites that have US traffic. If you do not have too much of US traffic, it is very hard to be successful with Chitika. There are only few other European Countries that Chitika approves. So, say you have site targetted mainly for Chinese or Indian Content. Your revenue from chitika will not be very much for sure. A great wayto check your source of traffic is to use some “site meter” providers like Google Analytics. Chitika Blog also stressed on CTR and mentioned to achieve 1.6% or more CTR is possible. Here is where I am having real trouble. I never get more than 0.7% CTR no matter how hard hard I try with placements of the Chitika Ads. I think mainly this is because I do not have a lot of US traffic.

Well, I still favor Chitika over Adsense even with my low US traffic.
