Chitika Income Drops

Well guys,

you all probably read my post about the exciting news - Chitika Beating Adsense last month. This month, Chitika is  not doing so great. It is still performing better than any other ad service (except adsense) but now the income is about 1/3 of google adsense.

I am hoping to see an increase soon!

Chitika beats Adsense!

Chitika beats Adsense!

Hello All,

I am so glad today! I have been for a substitute for Google Adsense for long long time. I think I finally found not only just a substitute, but a much better paying alternative to Google Adsense:  Chitika! Yes! Chitika Mini Malls doing wonderful in my sites.

Chitika Beats Adsense

Lets take some imaginary numbers.
Say my sites has  been earning 1 USD a day. I am using Google Adsense. My Clicks are 50 on average. So, my Pay Per Click in Google is only 2 cents on average. If I am lucky I get 3 cents avaerage. Very rarely the average pay for click go above 5 cents per click in Google Adsense. When it does I earn 2.5 USD based on my 50 click statistics!

Now I started using Chitika Mini Malls beginning of last month.

My Chitika earning remained close to what I used to earn from google in first 15-20 days of my experimentation. So, I have been earning the imaginary earning 1 USD from chitika. But there was a great difference in statistics.
I used to have 5 times more number of clics in Google Adsense with 1 USD of income. With Chitika my clicks were 5 times less with the same 1 USD amount of income. So, I realized,

  1. The Pay Per Click rate is MUCH MUCH higher than Google Adsense. (10 clicks in Chitika gives you 1 USD on average, very rarely the Pay Per Click in Chitika is less than 5 cents; with Google Adsense, very rarely it actually crosses 5 cents).
  2. CTR is low in Chitika Mini Malls is probably due to improper positioning of Chitika Mini Mall ads and source of traffic (as not all countries are not supported by Chitika Mini Malls).
  3. With time the PPC from Google Adsense has been dropping for many of my sites. Sometimes they jump a little bit. However, for Chitika Mini Malls, pay per click has never come down but always increasing at a super steady rate.
I have been using Chitika Mini Malls for 1 month now and I am happy to say that my Chitika Income has trippled in last 30 days.

I am also extremely happy with their payment structure. You can also choose the most effective and easy payment via Pay Pal while Google Adsense is a big hassle for publishers in many non-US countries.

NOTE: If you have a AUTO/Insurence/Medical/Law website your Google Income may be very good. All my sites are NON_US based. They mostly contain occational news and events from a small portion of the world - Calcutta. Google Adsense is just not good enough for general sites like I have. Chitika is definitely the BEST choice you have. And surely it is doing wonderfully at my sites.

I have tried these ad-companies before with variable satisfaction:

  1. Adbrite ( extremely disappointed)
  2. Bidvertiser (extremely disappointed)
  3. Adsforinfians (disaster)
  4. Adsense (Happy in some sites, unhappy in others)
  5. Ads2click (Disaster, low pay, very low CTR)
  6. Kontera (Good pay 2-3 cents per click, high CTR)
Note: Kontera is only “content link” advertising. But I used to rate it next to Google Adsense just because it pays very good when compared to Bidvertiser/Adbrite/Adsforindians/Ads2click. Chitika now has a content link component to it also. So,

Chitika = google adsense + Kontera

I  HIGHLY recommend everyone to try Chitika Mini Malls. It has worked like a magic to my sites. I even recommend to pay more attention to Chitika Mini Malls ads more than Adsense or any other ad program ads.
